The NDIS will become available in the Gold Coast and Hinterland from 1 July 2018, which means it may be time to start planning the kind of goals and supports you and your family may need. You can apply to become a participant of the NDIS up to 6 months prior to the rollout date.
Our centre is in the process of registering as a provider, which means we will be able to provide services in a number of ways, including:
Support for people with a Psychosocial disability
Some people with a mental health condition experience severe effects and social disadvantage that may be permanent, and may qualify for NDIS support. Our team includes registered and clinical psychologists with expertise in trauma and a variety of mental health disorders. We are an excellent choice to help you achieve an optimal state of personal, social and emotional wellbeing.

Individual and Family therapy and support
NDIS participants may seek out our specialist psychological treatment for NDIS eligible supports such as:
- Family support and counselling due to a family member’s disability
- Building the skills and capacity of other family members to manage the impact of a participant’s disability on family life
- Supports that increase the participant’s independence, as well as supports that enable the participant to enjoy social and community activities independent of their informal carers.

Helping you provide evidence of you or your child’s disability
The NDIS is opening up support for more people with a disability. Are you just starting your NDIS planning? The National Disability Insurance Agency may require evidence to determine whether you meet the disability or early intervention access requirements.
Our health professionals can provide an assessment and complete the Professional’s Report section in Part F of the Access Request Form, the NDIS Supporting Evidence Form, or written evidence that you can include in your paperwork.
