Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr. Vicky Satchwell is an experienced consultant psychiatrist with more than twenty years of experience in youth and adult mental health. Having worked in all fields of general psychiatry, she has also had specialist training both in the UK and Australia in psychosis, dual diagnosis, substance use and addictions.

She is a highly qualified psychiatrist (MBBS (Lond) MRCPsych. FRANZCP Cert. Addiction Psych.) who has worked both in the public and private sectors: including Queensland Health with the Early Psychosis Team and AODS services, and the Lives Lived Well Specialist Centre.

Dr. Satchwell is an esteemed clinician who has presented internationally at conferences on mental health and psychosis, and is a supervisor training registrars at Queensland Health.

    Some of our practitioners offer bulk-billing for concession card holders only. 

    If you require bulk-billing:

    • Ask for a practitioner that offers bulk-billing when you make an appointment
    • Remember to bring your concession card with you to your appointment.

    Payment is required at the time of your appointment. You can pay using credit/debit, and electronic transfer (via EFTPOS). We are a mixed payment practice: practitioners charge for their services, however some also offer bulk-billed services for concession card holders. You may be eligible for Medicare and Private Health Insurance rebates, click below to learn more.
