Clinical Psychologist

Dee is passionate about making a positive contribution to the wellbeing of others and specialises in helping children (up to 12 years), adolescents (13 to 25 years) and families.

She completed her Bachelor of Psychology degree with Honours and Clinical Psychology PhD at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and has worked as an academic, clinical supervisor, and psychologist within public and private settings.

She helps young people and families experiencing a variety of concerns including: learning disorders/academic challenges, anxiety, mood disorders, family conflict, trauma, behavioural disorders, attachment disorders, developmental delays/disorders, psychosis, deliberate self-injury and suicidal risk. She is an accredited Triple P Provider.

Dee is a motivated and client-focused psychologist that tailors her services to meet patient/family needs by drawing on: attachment theory, structural family therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, solutions-focused therapy, narrative therapy and psychodynamic theory.
